Job Description and Summary
The System Administrator shall perform Tier 2-4 services working directly with the Service Desk and Field Service Engineers to ensure service levels are achieved. The qualified candidate will perform the following:
Responsibilities & Duties
- Administer local servers and accounts
- Provide support for File and Print Servers
- Install patches and releases
- Perform routine maintenance
- Server health checks
- Server monitoring and reporting
- Recover and restore data
- Microsoft (MS) Windows Server Administration
- MS SQL server administration
- Daily maintenance and backups of servers
- Install operating system patches, upgrades, restores, etc.
- Install application Software patches as needed
- Complete backups and data retention of CLAIMS 4 Workflow Servers
- Complete backup and data retention for Resource servers at the sites
- Learning Management Services (LMS) Account Remediation
- HW and OS Support for Application Support Center (ASC) Management Server at HQ
- Control access to and remediate HW failures in HQ Server Rooms
- Maintain Emergency Shutdown and Restoration procedures for HQ Server Rooms
- General maintenance and control of USCIS Server Rooms
- Provide after-hours cell phone and on-call support to respond to local network outages
Qualifications & Skills
Mandatory:
- US Citizen
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years relevant work experience
Desired:
- MCSA certification
- ITIL Foundation certification
